It’s June again and the annual Summer Fancy Food Show and the off-campus event Food Fete are upon us. The economy is still in shambles so many of our favorite companies have decided to forgo the annual gastronomical orgy in New York that attracts the food industry, hanger-ons and usual riff raff event crashers who eat their way through the show indiscriminately like pigs at a trough.
After three full days of sampling some of the best foods in the world, and some mediocre wannabes, we have come up with our completely subjective list of the Top 10 New Food Discoveries. Agree with us, or not, the following food items will whet your appetite and encourage you to pester your local supermarket to expand their product selection.
