We have the simplistic American Computer Engineer who receives a sophisticated cell phone at his hotel in Thailand.  Someone is sending him text messages revealing incredible insights into investments, gambling as well as steering him away from dangerous life threatening situations.

All this is great until he finds himself confronted by the FBI, NSA as well as a lowly security supervisor at the casino where he just walked away with 3,000,000 euros.   Who is sending him the texts?  What do they want?

In a nutshell it’s a modern twist movie based upon the 1980’s storyline of WAR GAMES and HAL of the movie 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY.

A somewhat predictable movie but for the usage of high tech spy equipment, a pretty timid bedroom scene and of course the spraying of a million bullets helps pass the time to a somewhat uneventful ending. Stick around or you’ll miss who is pulling whose strings.  Definitely for the under 30 crowd.
